Skin Care Routine

Hey Mamas,

I know how important and challenging it is to maintain a healthy skincare routine daily. A few years ago, I struggled with acne due to hormonal changes led by stress. It took a toll on my self-confidence and made me self-conscious about my appearance. Furthermore, it impacted my daily life and gave me social anxiety which resulted in depression.

I took it upon myself to research products and find the best skin care practices that worked with my overly sensitive acne-prone skin. Though it took many tears and trial and error, I was slowly able to regain my clear skin. The acne dissipated with my new skincare products and routine, but it left countless scars and hyperpigmentation. This did not stop me from continuing my routine daily. As the saying goes, "Good things come to those who wait".

Now I am enjoying my clear healthy skin and would love to help those that are currently struggling with acne. There are four essential products that I live by and I consider my holy grail. Before I dive into those, I would like to show you a before and after image of my skin so that you can see how these products worked for me.

This was in 2020 before the pandemic

1st step in my nighttime skincare routine is the oil-cleansing makeup remover. It serves both as a makeup remover and cleanser. Out of the four products, this is the true holy grail!

2nd step is this daily cleanser I use both in the mornings and evenings. It's loaded with hyaluronic acid and other great hydrating and safe ingredients.

3rd step is my moisturizer. I use these two religiously. One for the morning the other for the night time.
